Super TLC's Social Media Tips

Image
Where is your Audience? One of my favorite quotes is "Go where you are celebrated not tolerated".  This holds true when it comes to you marketing on social media.  There are several social media platforms and most entrepreneurs have a Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.  You have to determine which platform is going to help you produce results! Monitor and Evolve There is only one point in marketing your business and that's to generate leads!  Social media can give you a false impression because you may get a lot of "likes" but if you are not converting those "likes" into leads then your marketing is not working.  Keep track of what gets you leads.  If it doesn't generate leads then it is time to change it.   Share Don't Sell This is a simple yet seldom used concept.  No one likes to be sold.  Share value then allow people to make a decision! "People are in such a hurry to launch their product or business th

Don't You Dare Lose Faith!

Image
We all have become witnesses to a terrible tragedy in Charleston, SC.  It is a scary feeling that a place of worship was attacked is such a viscous way.  I was enraged when I saw the news about this obvious sick person filled with hate walking into a church and taking the lives of 9 innocent people.  I could never imagine losing a loved one in that manner.  I kept thinking about the hurt and the pain everyone in that community must feel right now.  It brought tears to my eyes; when I saw 19 year old Chris Singleton, whose mother was one of the 9 people murdered, standing with his teammates and coaches from the Charleston Southern University baseball team say "I Forgive You". Faith gives you to strength to forgive.  Forgiveness is a powerful feeling not for the person you are forgiving but for yourself.  Let's be great today!  Let's have the Faith of Chris Singleton today! "Love is ALWAYS stronger than hate." Chris Singleton You can view Chris Singl

Do You Have Rich Habits?

Image
Wealth Mentality vs Poor Mentality 72% of the wealthy know their credit score vs. 5% of the poor 63% of the wealthy spend less than 1 hour per day on recreational Internet use vs. 26% of the poor 79% of the wealthy believe they are responsible for their financial condition vs. 18% of the poor Rich Habits to Teach Kids Require that children to read one to two educational books a month. Require that children set monthly, annual and 5-year goals. Require children to aerobically exercise 20 – 30 minutes a day. Require that children save at least 25% of their earnings or gifts they receive. "The fact is the poor are poor because they have too many Poverty Habits and too few Rich Habits. Poor parents teach their children the Poverty Habits and wealthy parents teach their children the Rich Habits. We don’t have a wealth gap in this country we have a parent gap. We don’t have income inequality, we have parent inequality."  Thomas Corley Did This H

Does Money Burn Your Pockets?

Lessons From the Richest Man in Babylon Pay Ourselves First (Start thy purse to fattening) One of the greatest lessons the book has taught is this first lesson. Bansir and Kobbi souhgt the advice of their very wealthy friend Arkad and he tells them a story. Arkad was once a poor scribe who made a deal with a rich man to find out the secret to wealth in exchange for his work on a clay inscription.  The rich man gave him a very valuable advice “I found the road to wealth,” he said, “When I decided that a part of all I earned was mine to keep. And so will you.”   Although this is a very subtle message it is very powerful in accumulating wealth.   We cannot accumulate wealth if we do not save what we earned.  We can do that by paying ourselves first and foremost before we spend any of the money we have earned Make our money work for us.  (Make thy gold multiply) I believe this lesson is about investing our money and letting it work for us.   I personally believe tha

There's Power in Your Name!

Image
My dapper Grandfather Willard Carter I was pondering on the question; do you know how Poweful Your Name is? I think along the way some people tend to forget that their name carries with it a responsibility not only to themselves but to their family and in some cases close friends.  Your name was given to you by your parents. Take pride and represent your Name!    The Law of the Mirror One of my favorite books is the  15 Invaluable Laws of Growth  by  John C. Maxwell .  Below are a couple of tips to help you take pride in your name. You Must See Value in Yourself to Add Value to Yourself!!!  Stop comparing yourself to others Add value to others Do the Right Thing, Even if it's the Hard Thing Celebrate Small Victories  "Personal development is the belief that you are worth the effort, time, and energy to develop yourself."  Dennis Waitley Did This Help You? Where Are YOU Celebrated?

Image
The last time most people were really celebrated was when the graduated from high school!   We live in a society now that celebrates pseudo celebrities for irrelevant achievements but ignore individuals who are actually making an impact on the world like Akon.   Click here to read a great story from theRoot.com on how Akon launched a Solar Academy that will supply electricity to 600,000,000 Africans.   Watch the short video below to get your Friday Motivation!!! 3 Powerful Speaking Tips for Introverts

Image
Do you have a fear of public speaking or are you an introverted person; like me? These three quick tips will help! Watch the short video below to learn how to prepare to give a speech that will blow your audience away. Glossophobia I did not know there was an actual term that defines the fear of public speaking as a phobia. People who suffer from glossophobia tend to freeze up in front of an audience, some may find their mouth becomes dry, some voice will get weak, and other’s body will shake. Statistics show that nearly 75% of people suffer from glossophobia. Why Do You Need to Face Your Fear? Many people would like to advance in their careers or take their entrepreneurial ventures to a higher level but the inability to stand in front of a room of people is holding them back. They allow the fear to hold them back from taking that next step. Whether you will be speaking to 500 people at your next business presentation or 5 people at your church comm

A Toast to Great Men

Yesterday I was called a bigot for having my own opinion and all I could do was laugh. It's amazing how people want to "fight" for a cause but through their inappropriate and negative actions become worse than the actual bigots in the world. As long as you aren't causing harm, spreading hate, or being discriminatory against someone because of their color, gender, or sexual preference stay true to your values and beliefs no matter who belittles them.  Do not allow main stream and social media to sway you! #BeYou Let's work: www.IamSuperTLC.biz
