Happy Friday Eve!!!!  It's almost TGIF.  I normally do not speak on "controversial" topics but I sat back and realized when did being a black man become "controversial".  This video titled Miseducation of the Modern Negro is my quick interpretation of  one of my favorite quotes by Dr. Carter G. Woodson.    "If you can control a man's thinking you do not have to worry about his action.  When you determine what a man shall think you do not have to concern yourself about what he will do.  If you make a man feel that he is inferior, you do not have to compel him to accept an inferior status, for he will seek it himself.  If you make a man think that he is justly an outcast, you do not have to order him to the back door.  He will go without being told; and if there is no back door, his very nature will demand one." One of my favorite quotes is "We don't get what we want out of life, we get what we are".  We have to become the person that deserves our goals and dreams.  Until we become that person our dreams will never become reality. I read a passage by poet William Arthur Ward that encouraged me.  I hope it does for you too.   Believe while others are doubting. Plan while others are playing. Study while others are sleeping. Decide while others are delaying. Prepare while others are daydreaming. Begin while others are procrastinating. Work while others are wishing. Save while others are wasting. Listen while others are talking. Smile while others are frowning. Commend while others are criticizing. Persist while others are quitting. So I ask you "Are you ready?".  Carpe Diem... Seize the day!

I've been asking myself this serious question for the last few weeks "Am I a quitter, an incubator, or a builder?".  That can be a tough question to ask yourself as an entrepreneur because you have to look in the mirror.  Activities like writing down you goals, organizing your calendar, or buying business cards can "trick" you into thinking that you are actually building a business.  The activities that make you a business builder are the ones that generate income!  I challenge you to take a look at your daily activities and determine if they generate income or lead you in that direction.  If those activities are not moving you towards a profit then it is time to reevaluate....So I ask you "Are you a Quitter, Incubator, or Builder?".  Carpe Diem... 52 Week Money Challenge    

It's 2016!!!  We made it!  I don't know about you but the older I get the faster the years go by.  I hope that you have taken some time to think and have a vision of exactly how you want your 2016 to become.  I read a quote by Mike Hyatt that said "If you have a clear vision, you will eventually attract the right strategy.  If you don't have a clear vision, no strategy will save you".  I am taking that stance going into 2016.  I know the vision I have for my life; but I do not know exactly how I will get there.  The one thing that I am certain of is that I will stay focused and stand in my gift of speaking & inspiring.  We have 366 days in 2016 to design the life that we want to live.  DO NOT WASTE one of them!  Before you know it the clock will be counting down on 2016 and we will be saying Happy New Year 2017.   Carpe Diem...
