"We are all born with a certain degree of power. The key to success is discovering this innate power and using it daily to deal with whatever challenges come our way!" Les Brown
Did I mention that I hated Fort Valley? Not that Fort Valley was a bad place but I never fit in. I did not have a lot of friends growing up. I was light skin with a cleft chin and my middle name was Lopez, so I was always asked if I was Mexican. This was a small town in the south, so everyone was either black or white. I was too light skin for some people and too dark for the other people. I did not have birthday parties or sleepovers. The only sport that my Gram would allow me to play until I got to Jr. High was baseball. I was sheltered and a frankly I was a cry baby all through elementary school. I was starting 6th grade which in Fort Valley was a part of Jr. High School. This was a rough year for your boy! My first day I remember thinking damn these some big ass kids. I swear that entire 8th grade class was all on steroids. I am talking about the girls too. I was this quiet awkward kid trying to be cool, but I had no swagger at all. Gram would not let me play footb

If you knew me from back in the day you can probably co-sign with her statement lol. So many people are held back back by insecurities, self doubt, lack of faith, or simply their past! Lets be great today! 1 Down!
This past year I had a several great opportunity to speak at high schools here in Atlanta. As a former teacher I knew that I had to come up with some material that will first get their attention and secondly keep their attention. I toiled over ideas for a few weeks and finally developed the acronym H.U.S.T.L.E. "The American Dream". I wanted to provide my audience with some useful tips that most people never really think about. H.U.S.T.L.E. H = Hero U = Universe S = Servant Leadership T = Think L = Legendary E = Entrepreneurship There are a lot motivational speakers, coaches, bloggers, etc out there. Anyone can read books and regurgitate memorized quotes but my goal is to actually train and teach . I have broken down each segment into separate videos and will be uploading them over the next week. The first video is my training on Heroes. I hope you learn at least 1 thing from my H.U.S.T.L.E. series. Hero : a person who is admired for great or brave a
