Do you have plans for Super Bowl XLIX (50) yet?  This year the Super Bowl is being held at the home of the San Francisco 49ers; the beautiful Levis Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.  If you are anything like me you have no real interest in traveling across the country for the Super Bowl.  Most of us end up going to some last minute Super Bowl cook out at the friend of a friend's house.  The food will be edible at best, your favorite team probably isn't even playing in the game and the only reason you went is because there will of course be free alcohol lol! The weekend is almost over but I hope that you are enthused about the upcoming week. If we are friends on social media you have probably seen that I am a basketball referee.  This job was a challenge that I took on a year ago just to stay involved with sports.  I really did not think that being a basketball referee would help me grow as a person and as an entrepreneur.   I never thought about how focused you have to be as a referee until my first game when every basketball Mom in the stands was calling me everything but the son of God lol.  It really is demanding task to manage and control a basketball game.  Much like the life of an entrepreneur it take very thick skin and laser focus to manage your dream!   Let's be great today! 1 Down!  Next time you go to a basketball game take it easy on the referees! If your friends need some rhino skin or focus, I would greatly appreciate it if you would forward to yo...

  Question of the day: Would you roast your Grandmother? Where is your Audience? One of my favorite quotes is "Go where you are celebrated not tolerated".  This holds true when it comes to you marketing on social media.  There are several social media platforms and most entrepreneurs have a Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.  You have to determine which platform is going to help you produce results! Monitor and Evolve There is only one point in marketing your business and that's to generate leads!  Social media can give you a false impression because you may get a lot of "likes" but if you are not converting those "likes" into leads then your marketing is not working.  Keep track of what gets you leads.  If it doesn't generate leads then it is time to change it.   Share Don't Sell This is a simple yet seldom used concept.  No one likes to be sold.  Share value then allow people to make a decision! I have had some very entertaining experiences while on my entrepreneurial quest for freedom.  It always amazes me how much you learn about people and their thought process.  Most people don't realize how important mindset is when it comes to being successful not only as an entrepreneur but in your career or in everyday life.  Remember you always get back what you give out!
